Question about the rain sensor
 

Hi all! I just bought a rain and light sensor and I am thinking of replacing my old rain sensor with this new sensor. I have to remove my old reflector of old rain sensor from windshield and stick the new reflector onto windshield. Does anyone know what kind of material I should use to stick the reflector onto windshield? What kind of glue should I use? Thanks for any input.

are you sure you can just install/replace rain sensor only?
I had to replace my front windshield when I had rain sensor problem

I have no idea, I wish that I do not have to change the windshield.

rain sensor was my situation also..
a few clipes located on windshield must do the job ( by holding your new sensor ,no gluing!)
But if there is no plastic holders ..someone broke them..before you discoverd mulfunction ets...- you need to do some work ..such
new sensor- ( to buy is easyest-cheapest part)
may be ,but sound like you need a new windshield too- 650.00 usd+ instalation...
3) you do need a reset made by mechanic at dealerchip ..in case you want al of this components work together..practically free if car still on warranty ets
