Air Bag Light - Driver's Side Air Bag
 

Hi,

I have an air bag light that refuses to go off. It came on about a month ago, and it's finally starting to annoy me. The fact that it's red, and it's in my face (especially at night), makes me think that I don't have my seatbelt on all the time. So I took it into service, and they said the code yielded a driver's side impact air bag fault. They resat it, and it went off...For a few minutes, that is. It now stays on. Is this a common occurrence? What's wrong with my driver's side air bag?

Somewhat common, usually the result of a seatbelt sensor

If i remember correctly while the light is on the SRS is disabled?
