X5 with mutimedia system (fotos)

Hi,

This are some pictures of my X5 A/V multimedia sytem.
See my SAV information for better description of my system

It´s like a normal X5 audio system but after i uncover the radio and the headrest covers it transforms into a super multimedia system.

How does that sub sound without being in a sealed box??

pspentax 04-25-2007 02:56 PM

Hi, Thanks for your kind comments,

My job is seller and intaller of hi-end sound equipment like Krell, Mcintosh, Jeff Roland, Sonus Faber, JMLab, etc...

The enclosure of the sub is not totaly sealed (like a hibrid sealed/bass reflex  box) and works very good, i have some foam in there for cansel some reflections and have a good Audison amp only for the sub. So the quality sound i get from this sub is ok for a car, its controled and deep i have mine cut in the head unit at 60Hz and sometimes at 80Hz for some musics.

Regards,
Pedro Santos

did you have to make some mods to fit that HU so far back in order to shut the cover?
I've tried everything to fit my Eclipse HU far enough back to close the cover with no success

I think the pictures are before and after and the cover is gone
