Nice another fellow Mass hole...where abouts are you? Nice X and gatta love the E36!!

I live in Bellingham - which is in between Boston and Providence. I have owned the E36 since new, and although it has 125K on the clock it runs like new. The X I bought used about 2 years ago with 19K - it is completely stock, can't wait to add my own touches to it.. The next mod after the running boards and wheels is the titanium interior kit.

JohnD: The X and M....... gotta love it. The M: Any tricks up her sleeve? Also, if you don't mind me asking; what did the run-boards set you back?

StreetsOfFire - The running boards were about $625 shipped from Morristown. I took the day off to install them and the clear lights package I picked up.. I also just won a sset of original 132 wheels off of ebay - going to post to see if anyone here bid against me.. Drove the price up over $1000.

As for the E36, it has a bilstein suspension kit, X-Brace, read brace, Bavarian Coil packs, and a TMS chip - overall it moves pretty well - I just finished putting new brakes and a complete cooling system in over the winter, and it has never run better

that e36 is SMOKIN hot w/ the m3 kit on it!!!! drooooooooooooool i always wanted a nice e36!

Thanks Kirk.. I am trying to convince the wife to let me buy one of the older E30 M3's - there is a silver one locally and it would be coold to have 3 silver BMW's in the drive way.. Wish me luck on that one..

dang 1/2 way thru the sentence i thought you said you wanted to get rid of the e36! i was like shit, me me me me me me me me me me ha ha ha ha good luck, amazing car!

Well I spent the last 6 hours working on the X - Running Boards are on, clear lights on all 4 corners and the Protective Stip on the back bump. It is raining at the moment, but tomorrow I will post some picks..:thumbup:
