final stage unit
hello x5 world!! i replaced my final stage unit; however, the air speed is still pulsating...is there anything that needs to be reset??? oh yeah, i have an '01. thanks!!!

could be the controll module. try swapping it with someone elses. Generally speaking its almost always the final stage unit. does the problem occur on auto? recirc?

both...the strange thing is that it works in the morning, but mid-afternoon it goes bananas. i did notice that on the there is a light on the radio unit, next to the clock button. The manual says that it’s the independent ventilation indicator. I wasn’t sure if that needed to be reset or not. I will check the control module…thanks!!

When i replaced mine i didn't have to reset anything, it just started working normally, I also have an 01 btw.

after much troubleshooting (checking for a wire that was grounding out), it turns out that it was my climate control panel...i'm not 100% sure if it was a combination of both the climate control panel & the FSR. In any case, both have been replaced and i finally have functional air flow...thanks for the assistance. greatly appreicated. many props to x5 world!
