Activated Carbon Container Location
 

Item number 8 is the Activated Carbon Container. Is this the same as a "carbon canister" or "charcoal canister" used for the evaporative emissions system? In the past, I've always found them up in the engine compartment tucked away somewhere. They usually are a black can-looking object. Looking at the picture here, it looks like it's under the back seat.
