anyone has after market amp installed in the back that can show me where the hook the ground?.. post pics please.!.. x5 newbi here thanks for reply.

yah mom took the x5 from some sking at whistler... i took a look before she left. i think i got those.. ur article realli helps.. u can't go wrong.. just powering the amp i'm kinda stuck.

Here it is. These are pictures of the left side of the trunk where the stock amp and CD changer are located and where I also put my sub amp. It shoes where I got the ground points from. Hope that helps

A clean and good ground connection is critical for an amp to avoid noise and enable enough amperage with minimal resistance. The wire need to be as short as possible between the amp and the car chassis. I figured getting the ground in two points instead of one would help secure the ground connection. That is why I have two.

i am planning to put the amp right on top of the factory amp so i think the ground will be pretty short!.. thanks for everyting alpac
