BMW Xtended Maint. Warranty Return

Hello all,
Lately i have been thinking of selling the X and getting into something of a sedan. Anyways, at the time of purchase i had bought the BMW xtended maint. warranty(09/'06). Now if i'm to sell this vehicle, this warranty is fully transfarrable, but ofcourse nobody really wants to pay for it. So i'm in a delimma as in to either just take the loss, or try to return it to BMW. The dealer i bought it off, says i can't. But my merc. dealer (who i have become friends lately) says i can. Have anyone of you gone through such an issue?

I sure someone would want to pay for it if its worked into the sale price.

When I traded in my truck, I contacted the warranty company and got a refund for the "unused" portion.

I don't know how it works for BMW... Try contacting BMWNA.

well just so everybody knows after contacting BMW-NA, BMW xtended maint. plan is Non-Refundable. So basically next owner is getting this for free, becuz as we all know nobody wants to really pay for this stuff:banghead:
