correct. I slightly edited the wording a bit, for clarity. But the key factor is making sure the ground you are parked on, and the ground between front of vehicle and the wall, is leve (0° inclination), so you get proper aiming/height adjustment.

I've always adjusted mine a bit higher than the specs to get a bit longer throw on the low beams. If it's done with precision there is no problem of glaring. If I remember correctly E53 should be set to 1,2 % inclination, so I've gone more like 0,8 %. A laser pointer is good when you need to find the exact center line of the vehicle to where you're aiming. I've done the markers on a piece of cardboard so it's easy to just let it stand against the wall. With adaptive xenons you have to remember to use the light switch normal position, not the adaptive automatic position.

Could you please post a picture of your cardboard guide? Wow, thanks for the tip, wow, didn't know about that little detail about ensuring the light switch is in normal position when aiming the lights.

At the moment it's at my friend's garage so I don't have a picture. Just make vertical line for center. Measure and mark the separation and height from ground to low beam lense center. Then make the height line calculated by the desired inclination and distance to "wall". (For example distance to wall 10 meters, 1,0 % inclination makes 10 cm lower than the base height line.)

Does anyone use or remember the measurements for the string and nails pegboard headlight aiming? Hub centers to wall, height, etc?
