Squeaky seats

Lately on my 03 4.6 mt drivers seat has started to squeak; especially over bumbs.Any solutions that a non-handyman can take care of?Thanks

The plastic on the bottom part of my seat was moving, causing squeeks. I put some super glue to hold the pieces together better. Problem solved.

I've heard similar noises in mine.

Have you seen my post on this thread => http://www.xoutpost.com/x5-e53-forum/...highlight=seat

The last fix my dealer did worked very well. It is still dead silent after about 3 weeks now.

You could buy a set of brand new sport seats that a certain someone has for sale!! ;pervert;

Try a leather dressing on the outside, paying particular attention to applying wherever two separate pieces come together. On the inside, raise the seat a high a possible and spray silicone on the underside where accessible, wiping off the excess. Good luck

Well got my ride back from dealer the other day. They fixed the squeaky seat issue. They said that the plastic and metal underneath were rubbing together. They took the seat out and put some fabric tape in between to stop the rubbing. Everything is good now!!!

Mine squeaks along with the entire trunk of my car lol, I drown it out with sound because a trip to dealer only fixes it for like a week
