MY 2002 X5 Navi problem
Hi to all
I'm pretty new here and glad to find a right place for both me and my X5. My navi is dead after several times of jump starts. I've heard from dealer that it may take up to 3000$ to fix it. No way... I don't want to put that kind of big money on it. You guys may know the way to fix it without putting stupid 3000$. Any suggestion or information will be greatly appreciated. Thanks and have a good day. |
Well do you have any other electrical problem? I assume that it was working before the jump starts. Did you fix the issue with your jump starting? Battery? which would be a common thing around here. Also did you check the fuses?
Also the front page has alot information on navigation. |
Thanks for your reply. Battery is now fine. THere is no electrical problem except navigation system. If I check the fuses, what do I look? Could it be a fuse problem? If it is not, is there any other way to solve this problem without going to dealer? Thanks again for your help.

Why was the battery dead in the first place? Low voltage will not allow the NAV to operate and it shuts itself down.
