Grr CD Changer
So today when I hit cd 5, my cd changer suddently stopped working, now it says CDC Error and won't eject the cd cartridge
My question, my 2005 has 34,000 miles on it It has factory nav, so I bought a BMW CD Changer (from a 2003 X5) and had the dealer install it in the service drive How will the dealer treat this? I'm trying to get this covered as a warrenty claim because my car is under warrenty and it's a BMW CD changer?? any insight would really help |
Why did you still need to buy a 2003 cd changer. Wouldn't the dealer replace it since youre under warranty?

Give the thing a sharp smack on top and then try it. It worked for me when my stupid changer locked up and refused to eject.

I got MP3 changer for sale.

CDs are so last century :stickpoke;)
If they won't cover it, get an ipod adapter. |
Original CD-changer has better sound quality than iPod adapters. Also there are number of people on this forum who complain about issues with Dice. Personally I don see a point buying iPod adapter for $120 + iPod for $150, with MP3 CD-changer you have much cleaner setup no cables, no mounts etc... and over 700 songs.
