SES light on: New SIB solution
I read this thread and coincidentally the SES light on my '02 with about 68K miles came on with no other symptoms or indications of anything abnormal. I took it to my dealer and the diagnosis was a fault caused by the DME (Code 189) and was resolved by a quick reprogramming per a SIB (120704).
I find this unusual that there is a "new" SIB for my aging X5. Has anyone else had this SIB performed? I do not know for sure but I believe that it relates to emissions. |
