Angle Eyes wiring needed

Ok after checking the forum, i can only find how to wire the AE as Day time running lights which is ok but not what i want to do.... i tried to tap it into the light switch but it works when you turn the parklights on while you have the car off but once you turn on the car it turns into DRL. Now i tapped it to the dash light..it works once you turn on the park lights on even when you turn the key on..but then you cant dim the light cuz it turns down also... so now im looking for a 12v power when you turn on the park lights only...so can someone help me?

I have unplugged my sidelights and tapped into the wiring harness so now when I switch on my sidelights from the dial in the dash the angel eyes come on instead.

There will be 3 circuits to the turn signals. One is a pulsing 12v for the turn signal, one is a constant 12v for the parking lights and one is a negative. You need to tap the constant 12v.

ok once i got a chance to check out the turn signal there is only two wire.. brown (ground) and blue/red (12v pulse) so that wont work..

You have the pre-facelift US spec. model so there no easy way to wire it. The wiring to the dash lights through an appropriate relay should accomplish what you want.
PM me if you need more.

is the u.s wiring for headlights different to the uk?

msborg, in the uk the terminology for 'sidelights' is not indicators( I think this is where the confusion has come from in your post?) the lights that come on if you turn the light switch one turn to the right (or clockwise) if you wire them into the harness of the lights that corrrespond to this switch then you will not get the lights coming on if you put the indicators(turn signals on) - this defo works as this is what i've done with mine,
