WTF? fan running when car is shut off
 

hi so after i shut off engine and pull out the key and left the car. i noticed that the fan in front of the rad was still spinning. how could this be? does the hot weather have something to do with it (30c)? i dont want it to drain the battery.

The fan will run as long as it needs to do cool the car, then shut off...

I'm surprise you have had your X for this long without noticing this sooner.. don't drive spiritedly? :)

If the electric fan is running excessively you may want to get it checked to see if there is a problem with the fan clutch or the sensor...my fan was running loudly and too often so they replaced the fan clutch which was slipping and that anoying noise is gone.

Normal. Even a 15 year old Honda does that.
