Help in Purchasing X5.
 

Hi, I am new to this site and need some help. I am on the verge of buying a new car; I have narrowed my search down to the X5 and the M-Class. I will probably end up going for the X5 as I can't be bothered to wait for the new M-Class. (The styling doesn't really fancy me too much either). My question is how hard is it to retrofit the Sat-Nav into the car after delivery (as I might purchase the demonstrator model) and will it be more expensive than ordering it with the car?

Finally can anyone help me out by posting pictures of the panoramic sunroof from the interior as I am interested to see how big it is before I go see the dealers?

If you are buying a new X5, I highly recommend that you get one with nav rather then go the retrofit route. In addition to paying 3 times as much, it's not an easy project. See http://www.xoutpost.com/articles.php?...ticle&artid=58 for an example of what's involved.

Not sure if you mean the ML, but if you do, then I can assure you it's not worth the wait....I just got an X5, and I posted some impressions of the other cars I looked at in the thread entitled "brake dust problems".
