Transmission Oil Change - Costs?
 

Here I am about to change my own transmission oil with the filter and oil ready to go...

when my dad convinced me that if I do it myself that the third party warranty company might give me a hard time about it if my transmission goes out. He convinced me that if I got a piece of paper from a reliable dealership (BMW) that they can't say squat and I'd save myself a headache in the future.

So now I am curious how much would the dealership charge to change the oil and filter of the transmission? I'd call but they are closed today.

If memory serves... $400 -$600 but it was a while ago and it's very vague.
