Some New mods

I previously had the amber headlight lenses removed and stealth signal bulbs installed. The stealth bulbs in the photos are orange because they are lit, when the lights are off they look chrome and blend in with the headlight assemblies. Just recently threw in the blacked out kidneys and xenon match fogs:

Looks good.

lookin good, could you take a closeup of the headlight in bright daylight so i can see what that mod looks like? I've been thinking about doing this but i don't know how it looks closeup.

ljnlaw 07-05-2007 06:58 PM

Yeh no problem what exactly do you want to see? Do you want to see the assemblies with no lights on, AE's only or all lights on in sun light? I take it you want to see what the stealths look like when the lights are not on??

blackbeauty 07-05-2007 07:03 PM

looks great!! as soon as i get around to it i'm gonna do the black grill too.

how are the ae's working for you? did you resolve some of the issues you've been having?

mine work when they feel like it and when they do work they are really dull.

Hey thanks! The AEs have been fine with the new ballasts, HOWEVER, it is nice and toasty warm in Philly as you know, I will have to wait and see they handle the cold weather when winter rolls around. I hope the new ballasts do the trick. I love the black kidneys even thought they feel kinda flimsy they are made out of really thin plastic but I think they would look awesome on BB.

ljnlaw 07-05-2007 07:13 PM

Of course they would look awesome on Michelle's ride also. They made sense considering the only chrome on the 4.6 was the grill...for black Xs I think its a no brainer.

streetsoffire 07-05-2007 07:39 PM

ljnlaw: the front end looks nice and clean now. the black grilles match the vent grilles, so thats the way to go......

I like my titanium grill too much. I need to paint my hood vents!

Not sure, possibly replacing the DVD player in the rear trunk with a multy player mounted under the passenger seat or between the the 2 rear seats. Nothing else really in the works.

Did you have to replace the ballasts yet?? I think I just got a lemon pair originally, hopefully the new ones will get me through the winter.

Yeah, just a close up of the light with nothing on. Just so i can get a descent idea of what it looks like inside the light around the corner. I've just been thinking that it would look like it is missing something in there so i wanted to see for myself before i did it. Thanks man.

ljnlaw 07-06-2007 01:54 PM

Thanks guys, I will be uploading a pic of the headlight assemblies off so that you can see what the stealth bulbs look like, also I got the kidney grills from EAS they were $89/pair. http://www.europeanautosource.com/in...ath=67_177_181

I'm north of Philly about one and a half hours, a mile from Scranton, I am at the King of Prussia Mall about once a month though. You said the grill was kind of flimsy I was wondering if I should try one from Ebay for 39.99???

ljnlaw 07-06-2007 02:08 PM
