no one has instruction for gas filter?

Hi,

Has anyone ever changed a gas filter on a 3.0 2003?

There is no DIY, but I can tell you how to do it.

Look under the passenger rear behind the driver seat.
Under there you will see a panel that has about 15 screws that need to come off.

Take that panel off and you will see the fuel filter.

Before you start take out the fuel pump fuse and start the car. Car will die. There will still be a lot of fuel in there so the job is messy.

Good Luck

from the inside

Hi,

So, you lift the passenger chair from inside the cabin? I do not remove the whole cover from underneath?

Also, is there any special attachments to the hoses or are they just screw clamps?

I have a 3.0 liter 2003 model.

The fuel filter is under the vehicle and hidden by the under body panel. It has to come down before you can see it.

No it is under the car directly under the rear passenger side behind the driver seat.

If you look under there you will see a big cover.

As far as removing the filter, no special tools. However if your new filter is just a filter you will probably have to stop by a special mom and pop store to get some clips to tighten it.
