Finally...
I get to post! For the longest time, I didn't realize I haven't activated my account. I could log in but I could never post. I found an old email about the activation so here I am:nanana: . This board has helped me out a bit about the car for about a year or so I've been lurking. I still have a billion questions since I'm not that familiar with European cars. Hopefully now that I can post, it'll be much easier. Just wanted to say 'what's up' to everybody! :wavey:
ps Do the X5's have a Bentley/Dealer shop manual? |
:xoutpost: Not sure about the manual.

No Bentley manual for the X5 that I'm aware of... |
Welcome to the 'hood. ;)

I like the neighborHOOD where it's all good:rofl: . Thanks for the 'welcomy' remarks.
So how do people get around with dismantling the X5 besides this forum? That sucks that they don't make a dealer shop manual for the X5. I know they got a bentley manual for the e36's and a bunch of other models. I have a similar one on the MR2 and it makes life a lot easier. |

As I understand it; authentic Dealer manuals are only avaliable online from BMW thru the dealer or other otherized BMW repair facilities. But study the home page because there is a mess of info to help you dismantle your X. Quote:

:xoutpost: No Bentley manual available for the X5 yet. It takes time to get the BMW models on Bentley or Haynes manuals. Haynes published one for the E46 (1999/2004 3 Serie) at the beginning of the year so hopefully another few month to get one for the E53 (X5)
