Need help-Newbie questions

I am taking my E53 to the dealer on Tuesday due to clicking noise in my steering when you turn the steeering wheel left to right on a standstill.
Just a couple of newbie questions:(sorry for the ignorance)
1) Where is the Power Steering fluid reservoir located?
2) Is the microfilter the same as cabin air filter?
BTW question number 2 has nothing to do with #1 just curious what its for.

George I believe Microfilter is the same as Cabin filter.

where is the clicking coming from?

is it coming from the steering wheel itself inside the cabin or down in the engine compartment at the rack and pinion and/or tie rods, etc?
i had some clicking and a light scraping sound from the electrical components inside the steering wheel. let me know more about your symptoms before i write about my solution.
the PS fluid resevoir is quite high between the engine block and radiator just right of center as you're looking into the engine compartment (facing the rear of the vehicle)
hope this helps

Thanks guys.

Yes, I am experiencing a clicking sound when I move my steering wheel from side to side on a stop. It also feels like it has more play than it should. I'm taking it to the dealer and might ask them to replace an d check all steering components while I still have my CPO warranty. I'm concerned that alignment might not be covered though.

the clicking sound on my X was the left and right strut bushings worn, changed at the dealer and no more click.

Thanks John. I'll ask my SA to look at that first
