285/35/R22 Rims for BMW X5
Hi,
I am just wondering if 285/35/R22 rims will be appropriate to put on my 2001 BMW X5 4.4 sport package. Does it fit? Any potential problems? Any advice is highly appreciated. Thanks. |
I have same size on my X5. They dont rub for me... BTW what tire/wheel package you looking at?
BTW I live in bellevue |
get wider in the rear. rims look real gay if the rear lip is as big as the front.

whoa, what kind of opinion is that. Obviously you havent seen many nice rims on x5's. Stock is a safe way to go but when you choose 22's you got to choose the right ones, and the lip depends entirly on the look. Dunno what this dude is tryin to say, lol...check out my pics on a search, i got 22's when dunlop tires and they are great and nicer than the stock wheels! |
Get 295/30's. What width/offset?

All I'm saying is to stick with the oem look. oem is wider in the rear. Anyone with aftermarket rims with the same size all around looks pretty weak. stick with the stock widths and it will look great. Course thats just my opinion, but the streets don't lie when hyour truck looks whack!

obviously this guy doesnt know what he talking about again, aww. I aint goin to argue here but you can look around at the different wheels being 20s or 22s, your choice. Be sure, there are quite of few 22" wheels but not all that look much better than any stock bmw wheels even the #87s (which is the nicest stock x5 wheel). again, all imo!
