Does anbody know if this would also trigger the DSC/ABS lights?

Yes, it will.

They will all reset when you turn off the car, and come back on again if it tirggers again. It may also throw an EML and Brake.

What year is your x5?

The harness to the ICV is crap until 2004, says my tech buddy. You can replace the valve, but the pins in the harness may crap out the valve again. I just fixed this; it was the valve, and once I replaced it I did not get p15xx or any of the brake/abs lights.

I was able to spray with electrical components cleaner from the MAF duct, so far so good...
