Rear PDC beeps non-stop tone
any fix advice or relevant info is appreciated.
Thanks! |
Take all the sensors out, give them a good clean, and clean the contacts and plugs with and electrical cleaner. Then replace and try again. If this does not help then one/some of the sensors have gone faulty.
|
you probably have a faulty sensor. i had this happen to me and the dealer replaced the sensor and the rear pdc speaker. if you're still under warranty, just take it to the dealer.
|
somehow the problem goes away without any fix. Wierd....
|
That why I suggested a clean of the sensors and terminals as it could just be moisture or dirt. Good to hear its all working again!!
|
Thanks!
BTW, how to take out the sensors for cleaning? is it a DIY job or require substantial effort? any relevant info is appreciated! |
It ca be done DIY. The sensors pop out.
|
Sudesh,
how? use a screwdriver or any special tool needed? |
I took mine out by hand. They are not held in too tight. I reached up under the bumper behind the sensor and slowly pushed it out. Then unlug it and cleaned it up.!!

Thanks!
