dsc inaktiv message
 

i was driving my X5 and sudently engine shuts down, warning lamps are on and bordcomputer showing something like "motor monochrome program" after that "DSC INAKTIV"
i restarted engine it runs but abs/dsc, handbrake and one more lamps are all time on and bordcomputer showing DSC INAKTIV!!!
i drive few kilometers and leave engine off for 10 minutes to get my friend and show him problem. after we get back i started car but all mesages and lamps are off. No problems at all. that was month ago and it never hapend again.
can someone tell me what could cause that?
I was realy scared, first i tought it is over :)

This seems to be from a number of problems. Wheel speed sensors, wiring faults, water in the area of the DSC computer. Unless it persists it will be hard to pin it down.
if you have a scanner you could try reading OBD II codes but none may have tripped.

my OBDII carsoft 6.5 is not working propertly every time i start scaning/checking it software shuts it self down. i found 2 error codes in hiden menu in bordcomputer. but they just codes, does any one have list of these codes?

I am having same problem today. City driving ca 20km/h tried to break very slowly and car acted like i am braking on snow. ABS made that sound like i am breking hard on wet surface but road was dry and i was braking realy gently. after that got DSC Inaktiv message and all those lights went on. After turning engine off it was gone but it comes on after few minutes of driving.
Anyone has idea?
Tomorrow i will check it with BMW Scanner 1.3
