brake light socket help
 

anyone know where I can buy or learn how to repair the contacts on the brake light socket? mine is worn out(common problem) and the contacts need to be repaired. thanks.

get sand paper and sand away

Before sanding you might want to try to turn the bulb socket just enough (back off slightly from full turn) to get a fresh contact area. That should do the trick for a while.

All it needs are a few dabs of solder on the contacts. Go to radio shack and get yourself a soldering iron and some solder. It may even cost less than the bulb holder (socket) itself!
