50 K in mods!! :confused:on a 2003...dude thats a little excessive on that car even if it was a 2007 and has 50 K on upgrades! thats way over 100 K, as mentioned if the Insurance company was never told about the upgrades then its your freinds fault, you can't expect a return on something that was never insured, they just insured the car cause your buddy never told them about the upgrades, cause his insurance would reflect that. If he can afford 50K in just upgrades he should have been able to afford the xtra premiums he should have been paying for the upgrades...simply if you never insured it than your out of luck, can't blame the Ins. company..

I wouldn't expect the insurance company to pay for you rmods unless they were documented with them before the car was stolen ... your friend should have had a boomerang 2 system installed in his car... (unless he figured he didn't want the car back after it was stolen)
