Fuses?

anyone know if the fuses in an 02 4.4i are generic (meaning I can get from Advance Autoparts) or do I need to get from dealer?

My cigarette lighter fuses keep blowing, probably from my Garmin GPS, and I've gone thru a couple in a few days.

I use generic fuses with no problems.
