auto level system
 

the dealership tells me i need a new leveling pump for my x5. a new pump was quoted a 900 plus 200plus in labor. is it possible to tie into the air system,pump the suspension to an acceptable position, seal it off and deactivate the leveling system. i am guessing this leads to the leveling idiot light being a problem? thanks for any suggestions

Buy an after market pump. There are plenty out there. Search the web for "Air Suspension" or the like.

what kind of specs does the pump have to meet? thanks
