E70 tail lights on E53
 

Don't know if anyone has done this, but I thought they look pretty cool. Wonder if anyone can actually manufacture lights that look like these.

What do you guys think?

IMO, that looks bad. The E70 has a much more fluid design then the E53. The E53 looks like a, for lack of a better term, truck. Where as the E70 looks like a Lexus.

The lights look great on the E70, but (again IMO) crap on the E53. Totally out of place.

As far as it being done, haven't seen it here before with the E70 being so new, OEM tails are probably hard to come by.

I like to think the E53 looks muscular, not like a truck :P But yeah I know what you are trying to say, got the new E70 parked next to my E53 in the garage.

they do look a bit asian but I think I like it..

IMHO, my E53 looks more aggressive, tougher than the E70 (we won't get into better mileage,etc) and surely more than a Lexus and all those other E53-wantabees - Timeless styling, I can't believe it's a 7yr old car - still looking for LEDs for the early model E53s

Just keep the foil tape on and take it off when you are bored. ;)

I don't know what that means, but I'm not trying to be an e70, I just like the way the tail lights look.

i think they look good...those tail lights would look better on a white or black X IMO...but it is something fresh on an E53...
