When they changed the high side service port they had to do an evac and recharge, and likely overcharged it. Very easy to do on a vehicle that only takes 0.98 lbs of refrigerant and would cause it to freeze up. A good place to start would be having an evac and recharge done at a place with an automatic machine that can precisely weigh the exact amount of refrigerant added.

Cool. I know of a reputable local place that specializes in a/c work. I will take it there when I can find the time and see what they have to say.

Well, finally had a chance to take my car to the local indy shop and they said I only had about a quarter pound of freon and that the leak is coming from the A/C suction line and the evaporator. I am taking the X to a shop that specializes in a/c work to see if they can confirm this diagnosis. The evaporator is not a cheap repair at about $2,000 and the a/c suction line is another $250. I don't feel like dropping $2,250 on A/C work, so if the leak isn't bad, I am going to get really good at adding freon every few months.

Thanks to all for helping. You guys were right. In my case, the warmer air out of the passenger side vents was due to low freon.
