Being in the area the BMW plant was a big deal when they announced it. A lot of good jobs there and they have an educational arm as well. They have partnered with Clemson Univ. on the International Center for Automotive Research,

I knew about trash being done in Mexico and Japan... but the 3 and 5 series are still made in germany...
