Premium sound (with Sirius) question!

Just bought a 2004 4.4 with premium sound. I don't like the way anything that is played sounds. It all sounds very re-verberated or echoey. The tuner has three sound modes (church, jazzclub and concert). I can not distinguish between them. Any thoughts?
