HELP - Important Stereo Question before Trade in tomorrow
 

I have a '01 X5 with DSP and I'm trading for a '04 without it. Can I remove the factory subs and install them in my new X5? Is the amplifier part of the sub housing or separate? Would this be an easy swap at the dealer? I would leave the disc changer, I just want the subs.

IMO don't bother with the OEM subs - invest in an aftermarket JL Audio stealth sub or BSW's stealth set-up.
