hid foglights

Well i might decide to install some HID foglights to match the xenons that i changed to 8000k. I was thinking of purchasing them from ebay but seems like there is so many sellers and i am a ebay rook. Any word on where i can find a steal deal on a set of Hid foglight bulbs, i am pretty sure they are H3 bulbs. My X5 is 2002.

heres a link at what i was looking at but it seems so cheap--->TO GOOD TO BE TRU or just a DEAL.hmmmm

Good buy or Stay away. Not sure with ebay most of the time.

I cannot access your eBay link from work to see what "cheap" is, but JLevi sells a reasonably priced set - try www.jlevisw.com

Those are just the bulbs not the full kit...if you look at the bottom it says included in the kit 2 bulbs, no ballast or igniters thats why it is so cheap. although good price if the bulbs are any good.

We have full HID kits as well:

Apexcone - 35W Performance HID Lighting Kit
http://www.europeanautosource.com/pr...oducts_id=1210

Apexcone - 55W Racing HID Lighting Kit
http://www.europeanautosource.com/pr...oducts_id=1209

I don't recommend the 55W kit as fogs since there is quite a bit of heat buildup, all kits feature a lifetime warranty.

thanks for pointing that out, i thought something was a little fishy. Not feeling the other members posts on this thread, i was looking for a deal so chill on the comments, i already been thru that thread and saw jevis prices, and i was looking for a "CHEAPER" deal. OH that beens less of a price, ;)

So how bout these: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/VW-GO...QQcmdZViewItem

Will the 35W version cause any error messages when you turn it on?

No sir, the HID ballasts (digital) have built in anti-lamp failure circuitry.
