SRS airbag light code help

I read the code with the peake reader and I got the code 38 for the first number and 01 for the second this is my fist time using the tool. This would mean the 01 is the table and 38 is the code right? If so it says control unit fault, swinging voltage test. Anyone know what this means?
any help would be great!

UPDATE!!!

The cause was a wire in the steering wheel that disconected from the wheel moving in and out all the time.

Anyone know if this is a DIY fix and, if so, how difficult?
