2001 and love it!

New March 05, 14000 miles so far and off to tour France for three weeks on Friday. Going to the Var region, Monte Carlo, etc. etc...

2001 3.0 5 Spd manual, Sport, Prem., Cold Weather, sunroof, etc. Tit Ag, black leather int. 45k miles. Will be 4 yrs old in mid Sept.

Starting to develop some add'l glitches and niggling issues.

I am either gonna load up on an Ext Warr and keep it for awhile or toss it for...? Dunno.

By the way, what happens to "new" cars if they just CANT be sold?! In other words, lets say theres a '04 model on the lot right now, that has just BEEN there..Do they just leave it until it sells, or what?!

2006 is not out yet, but there are some of us that are ordering cars on the forum. Also, dxbX5 seems to have already received an '06 in Dubai.

Bozo - it will remain new until sold for the first time. I saw a 1993 300ZX in a Nissan dealership in 1995 which they had in their system as a 1994. When they discovered it, they put it in the showroom for $10K off MSRP and were selling it as new with a full warranty.

Thats cool..I saw a couple of 3er's (4 of them) still on the lot here for REDICULOUS prices..

Theres a brand new 325i with sport here for like 25 grand out the door..NUTS..

Traded my 2003 4.4 for a 2005 4.8is this past April. I really liked the 4.4., but I luv the 4.8!

2004 X5 4.4 here, just purchased as CPO to replace stolen 2003 3.0 :wow: , vehicle licensed and titled as new even though owned by BMW USA with 10K miles.

Thing was fully loaded and I mean fully loaded, the only thing missing is the heated steering wheel as it has the Sport package as well as Premium.

If you don't mind me asking, how was it stolen??? by flatbed??

The wait list for a 3.0 Diesel Sport in the UK is 10 to 14 months...so I presumed the 2006 option is for those of us with a 2006 on order!
