Hey guys, I know I havent posted here in forever I've been busy on Bimmerfest.com lol with the new BMW. I sold the X5 and I got a 2003 745Li Black Sapphire Metallic on Tan, fully loaded CPO. I love the new car and everybody was tellin me to not get it when I was 18 and pick a sports car, well guys sorry but this car is the best!!! It has everything you could possibly want in a luxury sedan. And you guys know us BMW owners are crazy about mods lol, so far I put some 22" DUB wheels on her with 285/30/22 up front and 305/25/22 in the rear, smoked my tail lights, got carbon fiber emblems all around, and limo tinted the windows. Hope you like!! Here's some pics: BTW I know some people are not fans of full face wheels or the BLING BLING look but to each his own opinion and remember I'm only 18 so I'm not that conservative. And I love full face wheels btw so that all that matters right? LOL

sweet, but could have chose a better looking wheel
good luck with the 7 its a wonderful ride!

To each his own, is right on there kid!!! But I guess you are young and crazy. I love the tints and the tail lights. But the chrome, well lets just say, maybe if you could have picks a little better looking rim, I think it could have looked 100% better. But thats just my opinion. Good luck, and congats....

I must say its far too much bling but I have the mentality of a 45 year old anyways. (Can you imagine how hard it is to talk about cars with people my age?). Congrats on the new ride though, and hope you enjoy it!

looks good, i love 22s but would prefer a style that is more open.
Tinted tails look sharp

dr.jay 10-02-2007 12:06 AM

Sick car, I like the wheels man great choice, very classy. Tinted tails look great too, best of luck with the new car!!!! BTW what color is the interior?

streetsoffire 10-02-2007 03:23 AM

wees1234: You gotta be the man when you roll down the block! That big boy is poppin' with the tints and smoked tails. You may wanna consider some 22s in black to complete the theme........

The 7 has grown on me over the last couple years, your ride does look sweet with the tint and the smoked tails, however, I also agree that some black 20s or 22s would set your ride off...good luck with her.

750 all the way! Trust me I was going to buy a new X5. Make sure you get an Li(look at my back seat space with my seats folded back far, Im 6ft, 0), and get it fully loaded like how I did. There has never been someone in the car with me that didn't give the ooooh's and aaaaaah's when they discover something new everytime they get in. I love it. But, I originally wanted a white one and I had got a crazy offer for the X5 I was driving that I had to sell it. So when I made the decision that I wanted a 7 I basically went to the dealer and before I could drive to their other location 20 miles away to see a white on tan one, I fell in love with this black sapphire on tan Li that was in their showroom. I basically gave him all the money in my pocket lol and went with my dad and just pulled the rest out of my bank account! I was in love and trust me, its pretty hard to cash out one-shot one of these bad boys at the dealer when you're only 18. I'm blessed!

DAMN YOU!!! I sat in the backseat of a 750 a month ago and it was awesome, I need to find a driver lol. I may get both, I would have to sell a couple of my rental properties but what the hell you only live once. You are very blessed to have such an amazing car when you are 18, I had a IS 300 when I was 19 and I can remeber how many haters there were, pay no mind to them and enjoy the new whip!! Dont worry about other peoples opinion on what type of car you chose or what rims you put on the only thing that matters is that you have a smile on your face when you open the garage and see it. If someone has a problem with the mods you do tell them to buy the next mod, that will shut them up pretty quick!!!

Thanks for all the props bro. I LOVE THIS FORUM!!! I've had many haters with the X5. It was broken into and stolen 4 Times and each time a windshield and at least one window was broken. My belongings were always stolen out of it and to just piss me off instead of stealing my TV's, they would keep on breaking them everytime they would come.

Hold onto the rental properties and don't put your funds into a depreciable asset that you do not need. Keep the income stream going and increase your real estate holdings through leverage when opportunites arise. Nice move to have that going for you......

Wagner 10-03-2007 12:47 PM

Rims/tinting not my cup of tea but 7's are nice :)

primetime 10-03-2007 03:22 PM

The tails are sick...good job on those...I was wondering how harsh is the ride sittin on 22's? I bet you are a pothole dodging machine...

jayjay_dee 10-03-2007 06:10 PM

sweet ride... 18 and drives a 7, what else can you ask for?

you got that right lol. Those 285/30's up front are really thin and then those 305/25's in the back are even thinner and harsher. But the 7 is the smoothest car ever. It rides better on the 22's than my X5 did when I first got it with the stock 17's.
