X5 pillar trim
 

I'm looking for some kind of black piano finish. No chrome, silver or carbon. The plastic that comes from the factory gets so greasy. Does anyone have any ideea where I can find the black trim? Thank you for your time

I searched. I found a set on ebay for around $200 I think it was.

I decided to go with the carbin fiber pillars from the BMW dealership. I got them today but I haven't installed them. They look great from what I can tell. Cost $98.

So if you don't want carbon you can get the black ones on ebay.
However, they are not factory cut. Hopefully theyll be flush.

6 or 8 pieces? Is the color closer to black or more like gray? I need something that doesn't draw to much attention (plain black would be great). Can you post BMW part number for the one that you bought? thank you

It is black carbin fiber. It is more closer to black than gray but it does have dark gray (fiber?) all over it.
I will have pictures up probably by Wednesday.

Don't know the part number. I just sent a PM to Morristown BMW in the parts/sale section.

it shows $161.99 but one of their Authorized Websites sells the same kit for $134.99 (www.progressiveautoparts.com). MimoUSA matched the price and ordered from them. They have chrome, black, carbon and some other fancy names.
