Code Reset for on board computer
 

Recently purchased a 03' X5 4.4i with the on board computer. I have read some threads and the manual that states that the engine can be restarted after 10 mins (with the alarm going off during the wait).

Is the away to reset the code without trying to track down the previous owner?
