54 pin connector to amp
Hi
I have a 2004 x5 diesel. On my factory amp there is a 54 pin connector. Does anyone know here i shall take out the signal for my new amp and sub? wich wire, i want also to know number and color of the pin/wire Joeran from NORWAY |
you could always grab signal at the factory sub if you have one, if not each pair of speaker wires are typically twisted together, brown is always negative. you'll need a full range signal, not from a tweeter output, so unplug the harness from the amp and pop the door speakers with a 9 volt battery with some leads. the mid woofers typically have heavier gauge wire than the tweeters.

thanks for the help. I shall see if i can make it done. I will take a picture if i dont figure it out. All i have read at the forum it had been a 12 pin or 42 pin. Mine is 54
