Stalling??
 

hello. i have been a lurker for awhile and decided to join. this forum has been very helpful. i do however have a question. i have a 2002 3.0 automatic which i have owned since new. it has 68,000 miles. the car is stalling for no reason. when i took it back to the dealership they said it had a misfire code in the computer and their answer was "these things happen there is nothing we can do". is there something i can do to fix this problem? it dosen't happen often but it does happen.

My '02 3.0 stalled once and then showed a check engine light. It turned out it was a bad ignition coil. BUT... while making a hard 180 degree turn yesterday, it stalled mid-turn. I'm not sure what it is this time. There was no check engine light.

Our 3.0i has stalled twice. you are not alone.
