maintenance and extended warranties costs
 

Does anyone know the dealer costs of a maintenance and extended warranty costs them? If so please let mw know because I am getting ready to start negoating with the dealership because my warranty is about to go out. Thank you in advance.

How many miles do you have? what year and engine?

I bought a CPO BMW 2 yrs ago... it had about 6 months of original warranty left, and then extended warranty kicked in after.... I just did the math last night and I spent ~ $2,500 on repairs / maintenance in the 35k miles I put on an 02 X5 3.0 5-speed; this does not include in addition to the thousands of dollars of repairs that was covered under warranty...

These are very expensive cars to maintain and own...

It is a 2003 X5 4.4 with 31,000 miles on it. Right now the dealership wants to charge me 1,900 for the maintenance warrenty and 3,800 for the bumper to bumper warranty. Thank you for your help.
