Does anyone have this on their X?Any pics would be appreciated.Have only seen a photo in Bmw´s 2005 accessory catalogue.I am contemplating getting one as it seems very practical. It even comes with"BMW"enbroided on it.I am just not sure how it looks?????

I have it, but don't have pics. Its really a long, thin piece of rubber/plastic that sticks to the upper bumper. You give the area a good cleaning, wet the adhesive back, press out the air bubbles, and its done. 15 minute install and very easy. Not sure if its worth it though. It is pretty thin and I've seen other manufacturers that use something a lot thicker and permanently attached.

I have it on my X5. Someone else asked about it a couple months ago, and I posted some info and pics here.

I am quite happy with it. I thought the black broke up the large expanse of white on my X nicely.

I agree - looks great on your white X5. I think it would also look good on my black X5, but not as good as it does on yours... - on the fence with this one for me...

well, for light colored vehicles it would stand out and as stated it would break the solid color of the rear bumper. As for dark colors it would not stand out and only appear as a cheap thin layer of plastic.
I personally would not get it as it would not be too visible on my dark grey X5.

I think it's a bad idea to have it in cold weather, I got that crap on mine monstero sport and it's stucked when it turns ice there. it sucks.

I was contemplating that one before too, and decided against it. I like the clean look of the TiAg. And it is almost non-functional because if I am loading stuff, the lower half of the lid is down anyway and I won't be using it. Just my two cents.

I don't see the practical purpose of that thin plastic on the X since the lower tail gate open down and covers the bumper anyway. It will only make sense to have it if the X had a single flip up tail gate (hatch) design to prevent bumper scratches when loading items.
