I ditched my 18" Style 74 for 20" Staggered Style 168 with Diamaris. I got a sweet deal off Craigslist...they were basically brand new since the owner upgraded to 22". Now I have to update my signature thumbnail.

nice...

i always loved style 87s and this morning while looking for Ractive Oval Tips for my exhaust, i found at least 3 X5s with the same rims that you have now, and im beginning to be a fan now...

I love the 168s  I wussed out and went with 19s instead of 20s. Had I seen the 168s before, I may have went with those. They look great.

haigha 10-23-2007 05:38 PM

Nice wheels

Do you notice a difference in the ride and handling?

DocMike 10-23-2007 06:32 PM

20's make such a big difference

Michelle 10-23-2007 06:45 PM

Those are my second favorite rims!

Looks great!

How is the ride using 20's ? I have an 02 E53 X5 3.0d euro and I upgraded my rims from the original stock 17's to 19's. Not much difference in ride and handling.

PersonaNonGrata 10-23-2007 11:57 PM

Those are some of my favorite wheels for the X5. Good find!

Excellent upgrade  Better get some wheel locks for those babies quick.

bimmerFanatic 10-25-2007 02:11 PM

Thanks!

It can take corners very well with no slipping or screaching. I'm not testing the limits by any means but my 18" were all over the place.

The ride is a bit harsher, especially with the Sports suspension. Any surface bump...Potholes, lane reflectors, speed bumps, etc...you definitely feel them more.

CarbonBlackX5 10-25-2007 02:59 PM

They look great!

Excellent upgrade!

dr.jay 10-26-2007 12:58 AM

Those look great!!!

X5-4-Fighting 10-26-2007 01:15 AM

I recently upgraded to 20", too. That rim style you have there are pretty sweet, too. Congrats!

beldy 10-26-2007 03:14 AM

Is it possible to have 22" rims on all round and not get any rubbing???

EKS PYB 11-02-2007 01:35 PM

sweet looking rims. i actually for months debated whether to get that style or the 132s. i opted for the 132s but the 87s are my 2nd favorite as well...

blackbeauty 11-02-2007 03:33 PM

i love the 168's!

manonskisjr 11-04-2007 09:53 PM

toohotdoc 11-04-2007 10:39 PM
