Door lock problem solved
 

Last week I replaced passenger side front window regulator(03 X5) with a big help from this forum's members.But after the installation I noticed door lock would not operate with remote or center console lock.Again I searched thru whole lot of threads and did everything suggested and still could not get it to work.Then I remember similar problems I had with my 1995 S500.
This may help a lot of members and save tons of money.
Locate Central Locking System fuse (2003 x5 is in trunk)
Remove the fuse (Even it is NOT blown)
Wait 10 seconds and put it back. (This will reset the unit)
That,s it!!!!!!You performed the easiest repair and did not make any contribution to your favorite dealer.
I hope it works for a lot of members.

having similar issues the fuse for the central locking system is in the glove box 2003 x5 technically nov 02 but classified as a 03. my question is why is it consistently blowing fuses. please help thank you
