Electrical problem?... need help
 

I dont know how this happends but it happend twice to me already. I parked my 01' x5 in my garage locked the doors only to come find it the next morning with all the windows down and the sun roof open and the doors unlocked. This also happened out in public place just yesterday. Does anyone know why this is happening?

Where are your car keys during these occasions?

the first time they were on top of my dresser, that happend overnight. The second time they were in my jeans pocket...i had went to the mall and when i came out everything was open.

Ok, holding down the unlock button will definitely roll down all windows, not sure about the roof because I got the solid roof.

Maybe you have a cat jumping on your keys on the dresser? :D

I have read about others having similar issues but I believe they always discovered it was the key being inadvertantly pressed while in their pocket. The sunroof will open with the unlock button but I have a hard enough time getting the damn thing working when I want it to much less just accidentally by putting it in my pocket. That being said I have come out to my garage and found the windows open so I am assuming that it is possible. At least for me it seems that the remote is very sensitive to interference.
