I repent, I have Sinned

Ok, so I made a mistake, I bought an T6 XC90 (which then needed replacment gearbox, steering rack all under warranty) I owed the car for 6 months and have now sold it.

What a heap of Cra@p !!!

Whilst it was being fixed I had an X5 3d. A far better car.

I am now buying a 4.4 Sport.

I have a choice of two 2001 Cars

Car 1 Black 26,000 Miles

Has all the toys i mean everything! has not been serviced since Feb 2006 but MOT'd last month. This is a private sale. No warranty. It's up at £16,100.

BMW and /or AA will do a full check for £300 and after market warranty sits at £800

Car 2 Grey 51,000 Miles

Direct from BMW has a small screen, no coms, No heated seats, but has sunroof, sliding boot rack, was serviced at 50K. £16,500. Full BMW warranty etc..etc..

Your Thoughts Please?

Choice is obvious, car 1...less miles and fully loaded for less money...

Thanks for the reply

You think even with the lack of servicing for the past 10K?

I can't even be sure the Millage is correct due to the lack of servicing.

Cheers

I've Just spoken to the BMW garage and Car 2 does have the first coms pack (not Bluetooth) it uses a Motorola V3.

How can you not be sure of the odometer reading?

London5 11-15-2007 10:24 AM

Just being wary, I thought it can be fixed given the right tools?

I vote for Car #1 also...
Do the insp, and if you buy it, do an oil/filter change,
grab the ext warr., and I wouldn't give it a lot of worry,
on the 10k "no service", imo.

I think I may have spotted a small problem with car #1. The steering wheel seems to be on the wrong side of the dashboard...

Alright, Car # 1 it is.

Full inspection on Monday. First part of the inspection i.e Crashed, Stolen etc... has come back clean.

Lets see what the engineer has to say.

I can't wait to get it on a road near my house and feel the V8.

The snow should be coming soon which will be fun.
