2005 4.8IS-known issues?

Hey gents,
I was toying with the idea of getting a 2007 4.8, but didn't want to spend 90Gs on a SAV(yes they are very $$$ in Canada fully loaded).
I found a very nice 2005 4.8IS at a local dealer, black on black.
Is there anything specifically I should be looking for, any known problems or issues, greater then normal wear and tear areas???
Thanks very much.

If it's CPOd I don't think you have anything to worry about

You'll get compliments/stares on how different the look/stance of 4.8is from the regular X5, specially when they hear the sound of your engine.

The dealer is asking $62 for it, its an 05 with about 45000KMs on it. Im hoping to get it for around $59.
Is that a good deal? They are so much cheaper in the US, but I just dont have the time to go through the hassle.

how about finding someone to go to the auctions in the states for you? this car would run you about $45,000USD there. An 06 $49,000USD

I have an '04 4.8is and just love it! I added Dinan airbox and exhaust and it is everything I have wanted. I wouldn't think of buying new - these are such great vehicles... Sold my '02 4.4 sport to get the 4.8is... big difference in power.

Window regulators will probably go out if they haven't already...
