Activate Phone message
 

Hello again!!!
I have replaced the nokia snap in adapter of my car with new one of nokia 6230i and now I don’t know how to activate the new phone. When I select the telephone from the navigation board, I see a message on the main board Activate Phone. Please see the attached photo
Does anyone know the activation process or steps? I tried to search for Bluetooth devices from my cell but did not work.

I appreciate your help.

is it because your almost out of gas? J/K....u might want to PM Ucrew, i think he was able to activate his phone.

The pairing process is only active within the first few minutes of starting the car. Make sure the engine has been turned off for a few minutes at least, then start the car (or turn the key to the first position), then do a search from your phone for BT devices (right away...don't wait too long). It should find the BMW BT module.
